Ticounter Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026

Bu politika Türkçe olarak da mevcuttur.

Ticounter is a countdown and count-up app for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what information the app handles and where it goes. "We" means the developer of Ticounter.

The short version

Your data stays on your device

Events, dates, notes, photos, categories, and preferences are stored in Ticounter's private storage on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else by the app. Photos you attach are the ones you pick with the iOS photo picker; the app receives only the photos you select and copies them into its own on-device storage.

Widget data is shared with the Ticounter widget through a private container on the same device. Like any app, Ticounter's data may be included in the device backups you make (iCloud Backup or a computer backup); those backups are controlled by you and governed by Apple.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification system. Ticounter does not use push notifications, so nothing about your reminders leaves the device.

Purchases

Ticounter Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your name, address, or payment details. Your purchase entitlement is checked on the device through Apple's StoreKit. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your Apple account settings.

Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob)

Some extras in the free version can be unlocked by choosing to watch a rewarded video ad. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. The ads component stays completely inactive until you tap to watch an ad; simply using the app loads no ads and contacts no ad servers. Pro removes ads entirely.

Every ad request we make is flagged as non-personalized. Ticounter never requests the advertising identifier (IDFA) and never asks for permission to track you. To deliver and measure an ad, Google may still process:

Google uses this to serve ads, limit how often the same ad appears, prevent fraud, and report performance. Google processes this information as an independent company under its own policies, and it is required to protect it. You can read Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites and apps that partner with it.

Ad performance may also be measured with Apple's SKAdNetwork, a privacy-preserving system that reports ad results without identifying you.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland: before the first ad, Google's consent form is shown and your choice is respected. If you do not consent, no ads are requested. You can change your choice at any time from Ad Privacy Options in the app's Settings, or by contacting us.

Retention and deletion

We keep nothing, because nothing is sent to us. On your device, events you delete move to Recently Deleted, where they can be restored for 30 days and are then permanently removed. You can also permanently delete them immediately. Deleting the app deletes all of its data from your device. If you want a copy of your data first, Settings offers a full JSON export that you can save or share wherever you choose.

Data processed by Google when you watch an ad is retained by Google under its own policy, linked above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we do not collect or hold any personal data, there is nothing for us to hand over or erase; your data is already fully in your hands on your device. For data connected to ads, the controls linked in the ads section above apply. If anything is unclear, contact us and we will help.

Children

Ticounter is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behavior changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change ships.
